Melyssa Amann

Hey! I am an illustrator and visual artist born and raised in the culturally saturated island of Trinidad and Tobago. I have a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration and Communication arts with a concentration in Editorial & Publication Design and a minor in Scientific Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Currently based in Phoenix, Arizona, my work has been featured in a variety of publications and professional associations related to my intended markets. My work can be seen publicly in Savannah, Georgia in the hallways and stairwell of Liberty Studios, on the basketball court of the Savannah Jewish Educational Alliance, and on the walls of 2 Japanese restaurants which I had the honour of transforming through large-scale murals. My work can also be seen in Trinidad and Tobago at the San Fernando Central Secondary School.

I specialise in murals, but I’m also passionate about realism channeled towards portraiture, editorial and commercial work, and scientific illustration. I love seeing my ideas and designs come to life in a functional way.

Let’s work together and make ideas come to life! Feel free to contact me if you think my skill-set can benefit a project you have in mind.
